Campsie food fest.

Woke up this morning with my mum yelling in my ear "Aiyah chut dim boon la, chee sai la!!" (omg? Its 7:30 now, you're late).. followed by jnet's txt msg "hei chorng la" (wake up).

.. And so it took me 1.5 hrs getting to campsie to do voluteering stuffs for food fest. First thing i saw was Huong, Jannette, Dalena, D's sisters and others lining up for free drinks. They were very eye catching in orange shirts..

Thought the fest would b in some field place probably desserted but discovered it was only a few steps away from the station .. -.- Started the day by putting tables and chairs out. When festival started Jnet, Angela and I were at this raffle ticket giving stall giving out raffle tickets O.o while Huong, Dalena, Jasmine, Brenda, Heidi, Nola, Xue, Phuong + a lot others were helping out with handing out cooking samples, shopping, giving out of helium balloons, etc. (most volunteers were bevo'ers for some reason)

After being boreded with the raffle tickets, Brenda, Heidi, Phuong and I had to go around collecting ppls rubbishhh... -skips details and feels like discontinueing blog-
and then we gave out helium balloons.. anything free to give out in Campsie was gone in only a few seconds. Handing out the FREE show bags was like chucking a piece of bread in the air with pigeons flocking to attack it. Was sort of hilarious watching old ladies try to rip this bag off my arm. it's probably wat they look like when they try to cherng gip :D sozz.
Refilled my arms with show bags and ran to the other side of the place to avoid being attacked.

The rest of the day was spent pigging out.. and now the kebab man recognises jnet :D cause the day's supply of food + drinks were free. Met with others later and sat around.. and broke a table :D was supposed to have a group photo and everyone gathered around this table huong and i sat first sat on so yeahhhh... the metal bent and broke the wood.

lazy now.

And so it totalled to 4 drinks + a kebab for free today. Spent $2.80 getting there and back.
Another 1.5 hrs getting home.

After jernet said to make an account on blogger.com i decided to revitalise my old account :D and sidetrack on english creative writing... =)
but i doubt i would be doing much here.. and i don't know why i bother cause no one reads my blogs!!! >=(!! not that i wrote anything in my blogs. O_o So heres my first blog entry.
